The story of Whatabout Music
Whatabout Music was started in 2006 to expose the music being produced in the Emergency Room studio in Barcelona. Based in New York city and owned by radio and music producer Dave Bianchi, Whatabout Music is part of the intense creative energy that's growing in Barcelona.
Some of the most talented musicians from around the world have contributed their sounds and energy to the music that will be available on the label. Musicians from the States, France, Holland, Belgium, the UK, Spain, Andorra, Denmark, Portugal, Argentina, Canada, Italy and Brazil have made the Emergency Room studio one of the most comfortable and creative places to record in Europe. And from the very special city of Barcelona - where there are some of the most talented, musical and truly alternative people in the world - we think you'll like what you hear.
